What is the Recommended 2-Day APLS Course Schedule?

The 2-day APLS Course Schedule strongly recommended by the APLS Steering Committee comprises 14.5 hours of education: 11.5 hours presented in Small Group Discussion or Lecture format, 2 hours presented in Skill Station format, and 1 hour for the APLS Course Completion Examination. A printer-friendly 2-day schedule can be found on the Instructor's ToolKit CD-ROM or by clicking here.

Note: Course Directors who want to offer PALS Provider renewal as part of their APLS Courses must follow this recommended schedule and add 60 minutes to review the PALS pretest, along with 60 minutes to conduct the PALS post-test, to satisfy requirements of the AHA.
